Our “Handgrown. Handled with care.” customer promise is a personal commitment for Bob. He has been leading our efforts since 1980 making sure that growing, shipping, and customer relations meet Ran-Pro’s exacting standards. Bob inspires the whole team with his personal involvement to make sure you receive the highest quality plant on every order.

Recognizing that industry involvement is vital to the overall success of the nursery and landscape business, Bob actively participates in key associations, and is a past Chairman of the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association.

Edward JassoEdward Jasso

Vice President

Edward was hired to take over as President when Bob retires. Edward comes to us with over 40 years in the agriculture industry. He worked 4 years for Wolfe Nursery in the Retail Garden Center as the Assistant store manager, as well as 34 years with Lone Star Growers/Color Spot Nursery as the General Manager and COO in both California and Texas Locations.

Edward is learning all the ins and outs directly from Bob and will head the Ran Pro family as President later in 2021. Edward comes to us with years of experience and knowledge and is a needed addition to Ran Pro Farms to carry on the “Handgrown, Handled with Care” values we strive to keep for our customers.

Ken Howard picKen Howard

Sales Manager

Helping you find the right plant solutions to grow your business is Ken’s passion. He guides Ran-Pro’s sales team, and brings over 40 years of experience in the horticulture industry having worked with many industry-leading companies. He has excelled in helping garden centers determine the right merchandising and pricing strategies to increase sales, profits and customer satisfaction.

Ken is a Texas Master Certified Nursery Professional and is past Chairman of Texas Nursery and Landscape Association (TNLA) Region V, and stays involved in regional nursery and landscaping associations to stay front and center of all the issues that impact today’s horticultural challenges.

 

Mike

Mike Engleman

Sales

With over 43 years of experience in the nursery industry as a grower, sales, and marketing professional, Mike plays a key role in helping our retailers choose the Ran-Pro Farms products that will help them and their customers achieve success.

He attended Southwest Texas State University and is a Texas Master Gardener and a Licensed Texas Pesticide Applicator. Mike is also 2013 past president and 2014 chairman of the board of the Northeast Texas Nursery Growers Association.

 

Chuck Riley

Production Manager-Liners

Plants that are started right makes the grower’s job much easier. Chuck worked for Ran Pro Farms back in the 80’s and now he’s back! Chuck brings over 35 years of experience in production and has worked with the best in the industry including Ran Pro Farms, Greenleaf Nursery, J Berry Nursery, and Star G Nursery. Chuck came back to manage our tray Liner and 3# Liner programs. He has the expertise to help growers determine specific growing plans that provide the right foundation for future success.

Chuck is a graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in Horticulture.

Horticulturalist

Producing plants that are healthy, and free of pests and disease requires production knowledge and nursery experience. With more than 33 years experience in landscaping and managing production in the nursery industry, Bill serves a vital role in ensuring that our plants are high quality and retail-ready when you receive them. He maintains a vigilant focus on our pest and disease program, propagation, and general production.

Bill is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a degree in Horticulture and is a Licensed Texas Pesticide Applicator.

Louis “Lou” Mascola

Production and Shipping Manager

Lou joined the Ran Pro family in June 2016. Lou handles all the product shipping, managing shipping crews, machinery, and product pulling and loading so every shipment is counted and verified as accurate as possible – to get our product to our customers on time! He also oversees the production and potting of all our products. He ensures all our plants and trees are scheduled for potting at the right time, taken care of during their growing season, and will be ready for shipment when the time comes.

Lou is also a Licensed Texas Pesticide Applicator.

Customer Service Representative and Information Technology Support

Our promise is to deliver the right products – on time, every time. With more than 29 years of nursery industry experience, Mary understands your shipping needs. She is responsible for locating, contracting, and scheduling the many trucks needed to deliver Ran-Pro’s products. She also took on the responsibility of managing inventory availability.

Mary also plays a vital role in managing the use of information technology to fulfill Ran-Pro’s goal of providing you the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Business Manager and Systems Administrator

We are committed to managing our business in an economically sustainable manner so that we can serve our customers for many years to come. Regina manages the nitty-gritty financial details and takes care of all accounting and finance issues so that the rest of the team can do the fun work of serving customers and growing great plants. As the Office manager as well, Regina ensures all the necessary office supplies, safety supplies, and medical supplies are well stocked.

Regina also makes sure that we comply with the ever-changing government regulation paperwork requirements and she is the administrator of our computer systems. Regina graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Tyler.
